The product works well for slicing. It’s fast and the cuts are uniform. However, I’m giving 4 stars because the safety guard is a bit awkward to use with smaller items like garlic or shallots. I found myself almost bypassing it, which defeats the purpose. The blade is extremely sharp, so you must use the guard every single time. Also, while disassembly is easy, the blade housing has some tight corners that require the included brush to clean properly. It’s efficient, but demands respect and attention.
